Strategic Plan

We understand that we can’t script the future, however we can anchor the collective in a mission that everyone can support.  To that end, the Kent County Substance Use Prevention Plan is a roadmap developed to reinforce collective impact and communicate the importance of community coalitions, as well as the community’s role and voice in driving community transformation.

2017 Community Report

One of the main charges of the Kent County Prevention Coalition (KCPC) is to make local data on substance use available and understandable to the community.  Presenting data in this manner allows community stakeholders the opportunity to identify the major problems facing the community and to set goals to combat these issues.  The 2017 Community Report is an amalgamation of data compiled by the Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth (MiPHY), the Behavioral Risk Factor Survey and the Michigan State Police and is designed to present a picture of key indicators on the impact of substance use disorders in Kent County.
