These results suggest Hispanic/Latino students (23.2%) and American Indian students (29.6%) were more likely to report having seriously considered attempting suicide during the past 12 months than students of other races/ethnicities. The sample size for American Indian students was relatively small, however, so it is difficult to confidently compare their results to other race/ethnic groups.
