Arrests for Minor in Possession of Alcohol
In 2017, there were 161 arrests for minor in possession (MIP) of alcohol among individuals 11-19 years of age in Kent County (including 21 arrests for minor in possession in a motor vehicle). The rate of arrests for African American males (28.3 per 10,000) was 1.2 times the rate of Caucasian males (23.2 per 10,000). With a rate of 15.5 arrests per 10,000, Caucasian females were the least likely to be arrested for minor in possession of alcohol.
