Alcohol-Related Motor Vehicle Fatalities
From 2013-2017, an average of 19 individuals were killed each year in alcohol-related motor vehicle accidents. Twenty-five individuals were killed in alcohol-related motor vehicle accidents in 2017.

Drug-Related Motor Vehicle Fatalities
From 2013-2017, an average of 9 individuals were killed each year in drug-related motor vehicle accidents. Seventeen individuals were killed in drug-related motor vehicle accidents in 2017.

Substances Involved in Motor Vehicle Fatalities
In 2017, nearly half of all motor vehicle fatalities involved alcohol or drugs. These fatalities were more likely to involve alcohol than drugs, however.
