Based upon data from the 2015-2016 Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth, African Americans were the least likely demographic group to report using painkillers without a doctor’s order within the past 30 days.
Painkillers include drugs such as Oxycontin, Codeine, Vicodin and Percocet.
