30-day Drinking and Driving in High Schoolers
10.5% of high school students indicated they had ridden in a vehicle driven by someone who had been drinking in the past month. Females (11.2%) were slightly more likely than males (9.9%) to have ridden in a vehicle driven by someone who had been drinking.
3.0% of high school students indicated that they had driven a car or other vehicle when they had been drinking. Males (3.6%) were more likely than females (2.3%) to report driving a vehicle when they had been drinking.
