Arrests for Marijuana Possession
In 2015, there were 658 arrests for marijuana possession in Kent County. The rate of arrests for African American males (80 per 10,000) was greater than six times the rate of Caucasian males (13 per 10,000). The rate of arrests for African American females (17.6 per 10,000) was greater than six times the rate of Caucasian females (3.4 per 10,000).

Arrests for Marijuana use
In 2015, there were 586 arrests for marijuana possession in Kent County. The rate of arrests for African American males (27.3 per 10,000) was less than twice the rate of Caucasian males (16.4 per 10,000). The rate of arrests for African American females (8.8 per 10,000) was nearly twice the rate of Caucasian females (4.5 per 10,000).
